About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as much as possible while I have the ability. Making our way to NZ to set up camp for 2years!

ABOUT ME

I graduated from university in 2016 after studying history and Italian in the UK and Italy for 4 years. Since then I have worked both in London and Austria. I try my best to find work in the mountains to enjoy the snow and skiing! Hence our most recent venture to move to NZ on a 23month working holiday visa, having just travelled around SE Asia for four months.
I enjoy making new friends, travelling, sports, culture, all things food, drink, experiencing different ways of life and different people from all over the world. I'm a very laid-back person but also outgoing and always willing to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest and challenge yourself whilst you have the means to do so!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently on the move and therefore not in the position to host anybody.
I used couch surfing a couple years ago when I was a student to travel around Italy and found it to be such an enriching experience, being able to do things and meet people a normal tourist would not be able to do. When settled, I hope to be able to open up my own home and reciprocate the favour!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

All types of music, very eclectic taste: from electronic to rock and indie. However I also have an interest in classical music having played the French Horn for ten years. Always willing to listen to new things; my family are irish so therefore of course I also love folk and riverdance. When it comes to movies and books most of the things I watch and read are history and italian orientated due to the nature of my past studies as well as my own personal interest. However I do also enjoy going to the cinema and reading books of other genres when I find the time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Erasmus! Which has given me the ability to learn a new language, travel all over Europe and meet some fantastic people from all over the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of the UK, European countries, teach them a little Italian if they like. I also love to cook if they are willing to let me share their kitchen!
