Hello, I'm an elementary teacher at a school in Detroit. My boyfriend, David, runs a non-profit in the area. We have a super friendly golden retriever named Samson. We live on the edge of the city, close to Dearborn, but it's still only about a 10 minute drive to get to the center of the city by car. I am originally from Kentucky and spent a year teaching abroad in Tirana, Albania in 2016-17. While neither of us have a ton of extra time for showing people around we would be happy to share recommendations for places to go and things to do in the city. There is much to see!
