About Me

Hi! My name is Josko, I'm 21 and I'm currently studying languages in the UK. I like meeting new people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are so many reasons -meeting new people is a predominant one along with exploring new places and gaining knowledge about our world. I have seen many websites similar to Couchsurfing, but what I like is the fact that it'free, simple and easy to use. It is an incredible feeling to be able to select a city, town or village anywhere in the world which you just happen to think of and find Couchsurfing hosts just there. I think Couchsurfing is definitely one of the better sides of internet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a lot of favourite music, movies and books. There are plenty of books I love and have read from a young age: All 7 parts of The Chronicles of Narnia, Robinson Crusoe, All 3 Lord of The Rings books as well as the numerous novels of Dostoevsky, Emile Zola, Gustave Flaubert, Goethe etc. Generally I like movies from all eras but I don't have a particular few I would name as my favourites - they are all equally good for me, from production to acting. I like all of the film eras from the beginning, as you can see how it all evolved throughout the years, each bringing something new and innovative. I also don't have any preference for a specific music genre - I will like a song no matter to which genre it belongs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, personally, stage acting was an amazing experience. It's not comparable to bungee jumping or parachuting in the adrenaline sense but I've always found it exciting. Oh, and I also had a huge python hanging around my neck!

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment, I speak 5 languages so I could definitely help anyone who wants to learn any of them. I'm also good at history at geography, so I can share my knowledge.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
