Overview
About Me
I'm an Ecuadorian student living in the UK for the moment. I'm doing a master's in health economics, and I'm interested in languages, cultures, music, and trips.
I love to travel, to speak, to sing and to walk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am amazed by the concept and the functuonality of Couchsurfing. The idea of reciprocity calls my attention, I can therefore watch that there is more good people than bad people in the world.
I also like the community that is being created thanks to Couchsurfing, for me, it's similar to a really open chain of favours with no distinction, in which you can meet people, share and learn their habits, and spend a great trip with all the information of a person that really knows a place.
I am willing as well to accept people in Ecuador when I return there, and be able to show the real culture of my country and my people, to help foreigners to understand in what things are the stereotypes based and which ones are true; actually, I'd love to make people realize about customs not just by telling them about it, but also by making them experience it.
Interests
I love cultural and historical things, also economic things specially those that have a relationship with health and human behaviour.

Music, Movies, and Books
About music:
Music is life, life is music!
I love to listen to music, specially the melody, I don't always pay attention to the lyrics, I usually do it after I've listened to the sounds of it.
My favorite type of music is metal, specially symphonic and epic metal and melodic metal, my favorite group is without a doubt Rhapsody of Fire, I aslo like DragonForce, Stratovarius, Mago de Oz, Sonata Arctica, HammerFall, Epica, Metallica, etc.
In fact, in this sense, I love this music because it gives you lots of energy and a feeling of relaxation afterwards.
I also like classical music, for all the little details and effort that the composers have put into it.
About movies:
Animated films and series are my favorites, my favorite film is Ratatouille, and my favorite series is Over the Garden Wall from Cartoon Networks (a really well thought and developed series, and 10 episodes of 10 minutes each).
I also love good thrillers with a plot twist end.
About books:
I like to read good stories, specially universal literature; my favorite book is "The Count of Monte Cristo" of Alexandre Dumas. I love all the development of the characters and the link made with the historical events, it's not just a story, it's a life lesson and also a history lesson.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you spanish, how to curse and flirt in spanish, and also I can teach a little bit of french.
I can teach you the basic about singing and we can all sing together.
Finally, I'm willing to cook (or try to cook) something traditional from my country.
I am willing to learn about everything, specially about food, and culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would put all my effort in finding green not matured bananas (verde) for making patacones and chifles, and I can also offer my willingness to learn and to know differents places and foods.
