About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eating chocolate. And saving the world, time to time.

ABOUT ME

A saga of eight movies would not even cover it all.

PHILOSOPHY

"Sometimes Me Think, What is friend? And then me say, 'friend is someone to share the last cookie with'" - Cookie Monster

"Quit, don't quit? Noodles, don't noodles? You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the 'present.'" - Kung Fu Panda

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new here, but I experienced Couchsurfing already twice, thanks to my friends. It was an amazing experience, in Prague and Gdansk, so I decided to create an account, cause it's time for me to take charge of my own destiny.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things: travelling and discovering new cultures and ways of life. Reading, watching all kinds of movies (or series), going out, drinking a beer with my friends, swimming (especially in the Baltic sea during winter), visiting new places, drinking hot chocolate watching a good movie when it's raining outside, eating raspberries, playing taboo, listening to music, pretending to play piano, ...

I also like eating the snowflakes when they are falling from the sky.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different things, such as, in music Yann Tiersen, Johnny Cash, Chinese man, Deluxe, Belle & Sebastian, Chopin, Lou Reed, The Beatles, Beirut, Caravan Palace...

I loved Kundera's books, the "Greater Foundation" series of Asimov, Barjavel's books (especially "L'Enchanteur"), "The Breast" by Philip Roth, and The Little Brown Bear.

"Movies" is the most difficult subcategory for me. I like a lot of movies fro Bridget Jones's Diary to Fahrenheit 451. I really enjoyed Dead Man by Jarmusch (and no, not because of Johnny Depp, huh.), or the Kusturica's films, but also the Star Wars (first and second trilogy) (R2D2 is mine guys), The Lord of the Rings, Amelie by Jeunet, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask) by Woody Allen, 500 Days of Summer, Thelma & Louise, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I almost managed to do the splits.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you the best salad ever: "Chocolate comes from cocoa, which is a tree.
That makes it a plant.
Chocolate is salad." - Anonymous (probably my twin sister who was separated from me at birth)

I can also make really good chewy cookies (yummy) for you, or teach you how to make some french food. I can make some jokes, if you like it. We can share music, or movies, or stories about the different places we've been... Or just chat and drink a beer, which is also very nice :)
