I am an average guy with an amazing wife. I love to be outdoors but also can't pass up the chance to binge watch a terrible Netflix show.

I believe everyone has something to offer the world. No one is just here, we all have a purpose, we all have value and calling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't used couch surfing to find a couch but I'm no stranger to staying with to the hospitality of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on more couches than I care to count. My favorite story happened in 2003. My dad myself and my older brother were kayaking the Suwanee river from Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico. It was the 8th or 9nth night and we pull up at a private dock looking for a place to stay. the couple who owned the dock had heard about us (news on the river travels faster by speed boat.) they were so excited to talk to us that they offered us the keys to their cottage for the night.

January 2010 on a 4100 mile road trip. Two of my best friends and I get put up for the night by a Friend of a friend of my dad. We had a 5 hour detour when hwy 441 was shut down due to snow and ice. So I called my dad who called his friend who called his friend who called me. We got directions to his house and had a great time talking about blue grass music.

My wife and I have also hosted a few wonderful surfers.

I am a pretty good guitarist and I really like to share what I know with others.
I have been surfing for nearly 10 years. I am no pro surfer, but I can hold my own. If you have the desire to learn I can help.
