Hi everyone on this community, I´m José and I study in Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, however my home city is Guayaquil, on the Ecuadorian Coast. I consider both cities, as my two homes in different part of the year and I know them pretty well, however there are always places to explore. I´m a very familiar person, and sometimes I miss returning home, but this has made me grow and do things by myself.
I´m an animal lover, considering that I feel really bad to hurt including the smallest ones. Domestically I´ve got 3 dogs and 7 cats, and we consider them as family.

I consider myself as a world citizen, as I really like to know about other people´s realities and compare them with mine, so I really like deep conversations. Mostly, I concern about environment, and I really like to make the space that surrounds me, as green as possible, as I consider to see nature in cities is beautiful. For this, I really enjoy to take care of plants and trees I´ve grown up since the Covid Pandemic, I think I´m making my part in the restoration of my environment and because I just hope that the trees I will grow, will be the home for animals like birds and insects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m using this community to have basically cultural exchange, by showing my culture, family roots and explore places in my city. I think that by being a good person and effort to show someone how is your life and your environment, makes you appreciate it more. Also the background of others is interesting to know and I will be glad to know about it.

I like listening to Rock Music, but I'm open to any kind of music, I really don't have an style.
I love watching movies, my favorites ones are comedies and thrillers. I love so much movies, that I like to organize movie nights with friends, then maybe sing karaoke and have fun.
