About Me

Learning about plants and medicines from my guru medicine man in masisea near pucallpa peru. The town is called La Preferida, about a 3.5 hour boat ride from Pucallpa. Also learning about cultivation, permaculture, and jungle gardening, as well as construction-carpentry in the jungle.

I am American, from Ann Arbor Michigan; its a very progressive, liberal town. I studied psychology and Spanish in my undergraduate years at Michigan State University, and recently obtained my M.A. in Spanish philology from Georgia State University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with others interested in finding authentic people and places, from all walks of life. Those interested in medicinal plants and shamanism i can help you find a real authentic healer shaman without charging you. Its my mission for people to meet the guru and learn and heal with his help without other intentions. I also would love to host volunteers who want to help me garden and cultivate these fertile jungle lands so the shipibo can enjoy a sustainable lifestyle living off the lands.

I also would like to meet people to travel with when i'm not staying in the shipibo community and meet groovy people whose couches i'd like to surf in the future.

:)
