Hi my name is Josue Garcia and I am finishing up my BA in statistics. I finish my last year of college this June (2018) and I try to adventure as much as I can when I have some free time. I'm backpacking from Denmark down to Germany this summer (originally to check out schooling for a Masters or PhD) then hopefully down to Greece and up Italy.

I like to surf, hike, rock climb, cycle, camp, roller skate and train Muay Thai. I had a fun trip planned to bike down the Pacific Coast Highway (~380 km) but sadly had to postpone due to natural disasters with mudslides (currently back in the planning). I also want to try a marathon in 2 months (June) so i'll see how that ends up.

I strongly believe everyone who has the opportunities and resources to travel outside their home country should. The way it unfolds your mentality and exposes you to different cultures is amazing and literally life changing.

I enjoy waking up early and starting an adventure at the crack of dawn (or even before) as much as I enjoy spending a night out late with good company. I have hosted some great folks on Warm Showers (https://www.warmshowers.org/user/79478) and enjoy sharing stories about traveling.

I really hope to meet some great people on this page.
