About Me
Coming from the region south of Hannover (Lower Saxony) and having lived in the beautiful Rheingau during my Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology, I moved to Witzenhausen in the heart of Germany which is THE place to study organic farming. Now I am working in the field of organic plant production as a scientist at the University of Kassel.
I love to be physically active and need physical exercise. Thus I particularly love active holidays and have already made some great bike rides over a few weeks. X-Mas and New Year's Eve this year, I would like to do a longer hiking tour for my first time. My plan is to walk the Camino Francé in Spain - I'm curious what to expect there in the cold season.
I'm someone who, also through my studies in organic agriculture, is very attentive to the environment. I used to travel by plane a lot and so I have been in countrys all over teh world. But for environmental reasons I've not been flying for 4 years now and do not want to in the future. Also, I do not own a car, even though I live far out in a smal village - it just gets bicycled!
In addition to the whole activity, I also love to be lazy and to make myself comfortable. Preferably with a good coffee and a delicious piece of cake!
I'm not the person who likes to go to parties, I prefer to sit comfortably and talk about everything, that can be nonsense or like deeper conversations.
I live in a house community with 6 people and we have a huge garden where we grow our own vegetables and hopefully soon chickens will be running around.
I am a person who can turn up a lot and feel like coming in contact, but I also like to be for myself and then very quiet and also need that. So a little bit of everything :-)
