About Me
Hi everyone!
I’m from London originally and am moving to NY this August to study abroad. I’m gonna be completely new to the city and country so I’d really like to stay somewhere when I first arrive, meet some locals and see the city from a different perspective. I really love the sense of community and openness that comes with travelling and I’m hoping to meet some friendly people in what is definitely going to be an exciting and nerve wracking time!
I’d say I’m a chill, very open minded person. I like going out, music (I play the saxophone), singing, acting, food and fitness. I’m always up for trying out new things/ doing something spontaneous and ill-advised. Any questions hit me up ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve never done it before but have heard it’s a great experience and so I thought I’d give it a whirl! I love travel and the people you meet along the way are often what makes a trip so special! This seems like the perfect opportunity to dive head first into the city and have some fun

Music, Movies, and Books
Funk & soul, hip hop, r&b, disco, jazz, house, techno.... I’m pretty open with films. I know it’s not the coolest of answers but Harry Potter= life. My favourite book is probably either The Sellout by Paul Beatty or Cien Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Márquez
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ummm, I used to live in Chile. I also went to carnival in Brazil and did paragliding there on my birthday which was one of the best experiences ever
What I Can Share with Hosts
Adventures! Eating, drinking, eating and then drinking. I can offer a lot of information on London as well as Madrid/ Barca and Europe more generally. Of course if you ever visit London you’d have a place to call home and a personal tour guide. Debauchery is optional.
