I'm Joubert, a passionate South African social documentary photographer currently based in Croatia. After completing my studies in photography in Nelson Mandela Bay, South Africa, I embarked on an inspiring journey as a freelance documentary photographer.

Throughout my life, I've been fortunate to connect with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, and these encounters have ignited my passion for both travel and the power of photography to reveal untold stories.

Drawing inspiration from my faith, humanity, and the beauty of nature, I delve into the creative realm to explore and express my own identity. On a personal note, I am happily married to a wonderful Croatian woman whom I met during my travels in Bethlehem. Together, we have been blessed with two beautiful kids who fill our lives with joy and wonder.

In addition to my photography pursuits, I love sharing my knowledge and experience. Teaching photography is a true pleasure, and I run an online photography course that focuses on the art of meaningful photography.

I'm excited to continue my adventures and to connect with like-minded souls who share a passion for exploration and storytelling through the lens.
