I have too many interests and so have trouble deciding what to do with my life, but I do at least have a tendency to fling myself into ambitious projects and generally follow through.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn as much as possible, meet as many interesting people as possible, don't be quick to judge and don't be boring.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really wish I could host people right now, but I've only ever shared apartments so it's not been possible. However, one day I swear I will be able to pay back the kindness Couchsurfers have shown me, in kind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Gent and in Cottbus. It was great.

Music can be anything from American eighties to Finnish folk to German opera. My less weird favorites include XTC, Eva Ayllon, the Talking Heads, Fiona Apple, Serge Gainsbourg.

Books--right now, Kundera, Cohen, Stendhal... I also like a good mystery, like Arnaldur Indridasson or Georges Simenon.

I love speaking Czech with people. I also really like all kinds of dance.

I cook and I play a mean game of Boggle/Snatch/Set. I'm not that great at drawing but I can do a very cute cat doodle.
