ABOUT ME
Theatre and Yoga are my two main passions along with traveling. I am a thespian at heart and it is my hope to start teaching yoga very soon. My goal at the moment is to use yoga as a means to travel, to help and heal people along the way. My never-ending journey is currently taking place in South America, a place I have wanted to visit for ten years now. The travel bug has been in me since I was a child, but family is very important to me as well. My favorite time is when I am with my friends and my family, relaxing and enjoying the meaning of life: to be happy and content!
PHILOSOPHY
To live with an open heart, a clear mind and a free spirit (the first being the easy part, the second and third still working on)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first encountered CouchSurfing through my boyfriend William Metivier and my friend Alex Noss. I stayed with them for a month and got to meet a lot of cool people they hosted. From there I stayed with someone in Nashville, Tennessee and Santiago, Chile recently. I have yet to host anybody, but I look forward to it someday soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music, though indie and folk rock and electronica usually take the cake. Devandra Banhart, Black Keys, Fleet Foxes, DJ Frane, Justice...
Movies, too many to list but for starters: The Princess Bride, Baraka, The Departed, Love Actually, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, What About Bob?, Heat, Romeo & Juliet, Batman (Michael Douglas/Christian Bale), Lord of the Rings...
Books, anything Tom Robbins(Jitterbug Perfume!) or Kurt Vonnegut, The Historian, Ishmael, The Life of Pi...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently hiked a Volcano and slid down it in Chile! Going to India was a life changing experience in many ways. I will never forget getting the "stomach illness" there the same day I hiked up a mountain to reach a Buddhist Monestary. When I arrived at the top I was completely cured. I persevered! I will also never forget the look on the children's faces when we arrived to an orphanage in Calcutta, when they saw that we had come to visit them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am certified to teach English as a second language, so I am always up for helping if anyone needs a hand in English. On the other hand I am always looking to improve my Spanish. I also love talking/teaching about healthy ways to live life and eat delicious yet nutritious food, and how to cook it too!
