ABOUT ME

I am a lifelong lover of the arts, sports, and building community.

Since I can remember, my life is always been fueled by curiosity. I often take that third-grade investigator into my life, approach to find the surprises inside the complication that we call life.

I am a high school, English teacher, Poet, public speaker, Epic Uncle, and appreciator of A Bela Luta [The beautiful struggle].

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on I couch surfing because I am a big fan of connection. I like to contribute to the restoration of humanity through dialogue, empathy, validation, and relatability. I found during my early years as a traveling touring poet that small-stage artists needed all the help we can get. And through this wonderful Community, I gained many friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every year in March, I position myself underneath the Sandhill Crane migration in the state of Nebraska. Well, over a half 1 million birds take this course to the central flyway. I find that it's a reminder of how small we are inside of this sphere that we live in. I relish in any time I get to have that feeling.
