About Me

I am an Engineer who once thought of becoming an Accountant when I was younger. I am currently working at a Japanese owned engineering design firm in Cebu, Philippines.

I am a loving "only child". A proud Boholano. A simple guy who loves his shoes. There is really nothing much to say about me apart from the obligatory bios available on my profile. I think most of us would agree that describing yourself is one of the most difficult thing to do. Now, I'm beginning to make a disclaimer. Hahaha. Nonetheless, if you want to get to know me, let's have a good conversation face to face.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm technically a newbie when it comes to travelling, especially out of my country. This august, it will be my first time travelling outside the Philippines. A friend I met during my short vacation in Boracay (a beautiful island here in the Philippines) introduced me to couchsurfing and I was amazed of its existence. I got so interested; it made me think of trying it on my first trip abroad. Hopefully, I will experience the hospitality of locals or even foreigners living in the place I will be visiting to. I would love to meet nice and amazing people who I can share great conversations with and eventually learn and understand each other's culture in a more personal approach. Being able to live and stay at newly found friends' homes would be a great experience. In that manner, I'll be able to appreciate better the beauty of each place I visit to, based on the character and personality of each person I meet and interact with at the comfort of their own homes.

Interests

Even when I was still a little kid, I already love Arts. When I travel, I would love to see and maybe take photos of artworks and/or architectural design from different places. A trip to see Mother Nature's beauty would also be very interesting.

I enjoy playing competitive badminton. I also run or jog from time to time since I've been wanting to try to run in a marathon one day.

I am now hooked on mobile photography. I take photos of random things. No certain theme nor category. I just trust my own preference and taste. Whenever I find something that is pleasing to my eyes, I just take out my phone and click.

Music, Movies, and Books

Air Supply
Original Pinoy Music (OPM)
I love mostly any genre of music depending on my mood, from hardcore rock to sweet melodramatic ballads. Basically I am a Filipino, I love music, I love to sing especially in Karaoke (We call it Videoke).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to an extreme adventure park in Bohol last 2010, I did "The Plunge" which was jumping off a cliff like that of a bungee jump...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn a new language, perhaps Spanish or French. I can teach languages and dialects I speak.

This may sound weird, I don't know how to swim, eventhough I was born in the beautiful island of Bohol. But I want to learn it someday.

I can teach you how to play the Hand Flute.

I can teach Math? Hahaha...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My Smile...they say it's contagious..haha...
I really love talking to people and sharing life experiences. Hoping that I can somehow inspire others with my stories. Spread positivity.
