About Me

My take on life is a very relaxed one, I like enjoying the bits and pieces of every moment. In my head I can hear the soundtrack for each new memory and remember it as a movie scene. I figure it is when you're most relaxed that you can truly appreciate every little thing that happens around you.

I love meeting new people and experiencing the way they perceive life and their surroundings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always felt that having a local guide you through any place is better. They know the right spots, the good food, the great sights. Whenever I have people from other places I love going overboard and showing them all that I can, it's the least I can do if I expect someone to have me in their home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many different kinds of music, from Avant Garde to Metal and Rock, making a stop on Pop and some Blues and Jazz and whatever magic Zappa was playing. My ever changing top five in music is: Death, Cynic, Frank Zappa, John Mayer and Porter. As of june 2016 the album of the month for me is Koloss by Meshuggah, last month it wasn't even an album it was the This American Life podcast. Some of my favorite movies are: Amores Perros, Grand Budapest Hotel, Jurassic Park, Relatos Salvajes and much more. I loved reading 100 Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Marquez, Las Batallas en el Desierto and La Catedral del Mar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I unconsciously made my ten-year-old-self's dream come true by opening my very own music school.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar and a thing or two about advertising. I could also share with you my massive music collection and I would love to see yours. I'd love to learn whatever you want to teach me but please don't make it math.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My view of the world. I find it that a person's experience and knowledge is the most valuable thing one can give and receive.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Luxembourg, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
