ABOUT ME

I am willing to sleep on couches, chairs, floors, outside in your yard (i have a tent), and basically wherever is deemed safe.

I am outrageously optimistic.

I write poetry and my thoughts, when which combined may sometimes be prose.

I play music and enjoy singing. Let's play songs together!

I am very open about almost anything and respect honesty. i enjoy the little things in life. i believe that the grand scheme is primarily composed of many little things that sum up to create one larger sum. I am very perceptive, easy to please, and EASY TO WAKE. but don't worry, i don't bite.

i was vegetarian/vegan for quite some time, but now eat other creatures only in (what i deem) a sensible manner. i stress the need for preserving and practicing local food traditions, and by doing so with sustainable agriculture and care for the land and other animals that live on it. i believe the world thrives on diversity.

I am a very accepting person, and i get along great with many different kinds of people.

i like to eat, sleep, talk/discuss, share ideas and concepts, walk, investigate things, to inspire, and to become inspired.

PHILOSOPHY

enjoy the small things in life, do not hold regrets, and learn to let go of things. there is no point in getting angry and staying that way because something doesn't work exactly the way you wanted it, or at all. by learning to let things go, you can move on in your life with less conflict. (even though, this often creates conflict with people that have not learned to let things go) I am not all about just dropping people when things get rough. I am more than willing and have gone MORE than out of my way to help people and to sort things out. One must learn, but even then, it sometimes is not enough.

i believe in this personally, i do not necessarily apply it to other people; give everything you have, but expect nothing in return except a sense of respect.

Amazing story.

my brother is in a wheelchair, he always has been, and he always will be. my brother is a huge fan of the final fantasy games; it is these sort of activities that get him through the day; especially now that he has graduated from high school, doesn't have a job, and is living with our mother. now, i am not going to lie, i have played all of the games to date and, like my brother, i really enjoy the music composed by nobou uematsu. when i heard that there was going to be a chicago orchestra playing uematsu's music, i immediately bought tickets for him and i. Now there was an option to buy tickets for 150.00 dollars. With this you get the front section, participation in the meet and greet with the composer Nobou Uematsu, and the conductor Arnie Roth. Needless to say, there was no handicapped seating in this section, so we settled with the back of the third section from the front-center.

To put this in perspective, Nobou Uematsu is my brother's all time number one hero. Seeing an orchestra play his music WAS on his "top ten to do before i die" list. Meeting Uematsu was number one.

The performance was AMAZING. The crowd was so energetic, and the performers were outstanding! There was an organized visual screen-play for each individual song too, and it was quite captivating.

The performance was done, and i knew we weren't going to just walk right up to Uematsu. I found out during the intermission where everything was happening...and had a plan.

After being let inside from the side entrance(story for another time), and waiting 2 and a half hours for the line to die down before we were allowed out, both of use got to do the meet and greet. The staff at the Rosemont theatre in Chicago are not heartless.

I know a great deal about bicycles, could offer some tips on writing, ANTHROPOLOGY is my primary study, basic knowledge of stenciling, basic knowledge of the guitar, vegan cooking--and cooking in general, and general getting through life happy sorts of things. I've also taken on gardening recently, and hope to learn more about that from people as i travel.

I want to learn about almost everything, but some specifics: If you can teach me more about my interests, yoga, alternative living, welding, wood working, printing, cooperative planning and building, writing, and much more i will be a grateful and happy camper hanging out with you.

I will share anything and everything. food (if i have any), ideas, thoughts, personal memories and lessons. whatever. Name it.
