Overview
About Me
I am from Chicago, work as a Kindergarten teacher, just moved to the European side of Istanbul with my husband and pupson.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've lived in Turkey now for about 2 years and while I've been immersed in the language and culture, I can't say I'm assimilated. I miss the multiculturalism of Chicago so I'd love to learn about yours!
Also I really wanna start a podcast so knowledge from sound engineers/technicians would be great.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can give travel advice for a traveler’s point of view since I’m an expat here. If you’re on a budget, I can share affordable dining, shopping, nightlife and entertaining options. We eat at home during the week so you’re always welcome. My husband is a local but he speaks fluent Turkish, English and conversational German. He’s a crap haggler though so don’t rely on him for that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great stories, a listening ear, healthy meals and always down to catch a drink!
