ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Joel.
I live near to Tallinn( ca. 30km). I am studying civil engeneering in Tallinn University of Technology.
I am open-minded and nice person, who likes to travel and to learn something about different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't want to think about the future. Live in a day and seeing, what comes next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My purpose to participate is that I would want to explore the World and learn about other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in summer 2010, when I hitchhiked around the Europe. Met very kind and good people in Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, France and Italy.
My latest Couchsurfing experience was a trip Brno-Vienna-Bratislava and after that trip to Berlin.
Right now I won't be able to host anyone, because of construction works in my house.

Interests

Sports (I really like to do interval trainings, to play tennis, go for a run etc.), music, movies, traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have my own movie collection, which is very big( right now about 500 different movies and series).
In music I prefer indie rock (artists like "Kaiser Chiefs", "Bastille", "Said the Whale", "Sheppard" etc.) and alternative rock ("Linkin Park", "Manchester Orchestra", "Offspring", These Reigning Days" etc. , but also like some peaceful and pop. Opened for many music tastes.
Right now my favorite is "Arc de Triomphe" by E.M.Remarque, but I read different new books in every month. I really liked also books "Catcher in the Rye", "War and Peace" and "Master and Margarita".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking around the Europe in 2010;
Skydiving in 2011;
Woodstock Poland Festival 2013 (arrived and left by hitchhiking :D);
