My name is Joy and I am a piano and cello instructor. I was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska and I love all the typical Alaskan hobbies. I am pretty open minded and easy to get along with. Sometimes I can be shy but for the most part I am pretty out going. I am a mother to two little fur baby.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to go to the MTNA conference for March 15-21st At Spokane Washington. It is held at the Spokane convention center. I didn’t realize how expensive the hotels are! I just got back from a Hawaii trip and I am still recuperating from that 😅 I heard from one of my friend about this experience and thought it would be a great opportunity to try it out.

Basically everything except country. I love the art of cinematic so I will watch anything except scary movies! I was reading Lotr but it’s on pause for now. I’m half way through the first book.
