I come from Guangzhou, Canton, a city in the very south of China near HongKong and Macau. I studies English in University and chose Japanese as my second foreign language. After graduation, I worked as an intellectual property consultant for a while and later became an English teacher. I really love Guangzhou, the people, the food, the culture and everything else. But as I started traveling, I was amazed by how much I loved it. In China, traveling on one's own is still something very rare, and instead of going to see the world, most people would be busying building up their careers and families, thanks to the wonderful people I've met in my life, on August 9th 2016, I quit my job, left the country and started my travel in the UK and Europe. I'm very happy for all the courageous decisions I've made and I'm very proud of myself! Sometimes I really believe that English has changed my life and I wouldn't have been able to have all those intriguing conversations with people I met from the other side of the world. There are so many possibilities in life and you don't really have to live like everyone else does.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I really love traveling and meeting different kinds of people. Most of couch surfing hosts are world travelers themselves, and the best way to know about the city, I believe, is to stay with the people who's been living there for years or even their whole life. I enjoy listening to other people's stories and sharing mine with them too.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all kinds of music(Ed Sheeran, Green Day, Coldplay, The Script, Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz, Avett Brothers, The Beatles, Adele, Bee Gees, The White Stripes, Birdy), movies and books.

Just that I would usually avoid seeing horror movies because I get scared very easily and the images in the movies will keep haunting me for weeks before it goes away.
