Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a reflection of what I’m feeling and where I am, so I like just about everything depending on my mood.
I love movies! Anything with Keira knightly in it I’ve seen or am about to watch. I have always enjoyed big blockbusters, but I’m slowly beginning to discover more art house films (call me by your name is definitely a favorite).
I have begun trying to read more; I love self improvement books or autobiographies because I think other people’s experiences are so interesting and we can learn so much through them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two days after I completed my last high school class, when I was 17, I got on a plane to London thus beginning my 3 month adventure. I hitchhiked, train hopped, couch surfed, and even slept on the roof of a train station. It definitely less of a fun trip and more of a experiment in Darwinism lol, but it was an incredible experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to explore new cities! I also love learning about my host and their culture and life. I think it’s great to share in ideas and beliefs in order to understand different perspectives!:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories specific to my absolutely wild Texan family, and my travels. I can even teach you how to cook some of my favorite Tex mex and classic American dishes. I also would absolutely love to help anyone who wants to improve their English!:)
