ABOUT ME

Hello everyone :),I´m Fabienne Joy,23 year old girl from a wonderful city called Dortmund in Germany, I lived one year in our wonderful neighbour country,the Netherlands to study the language and tourism and leisure managment!23?woaah im growin old^^-but I´m still the one who drives everyone around crazy->of course only in a good way ;D^^I think it will never stop 2 be like that!I love my life-most of the time:P!!!!!I think we should enjoy every moment as much as we can even if it`s hard!!!!! Well,I think I´m a quiet sprightly and open-minded person,who loves 2 laugh and do crazy stuff!!!!! I´m "down-to-earth"- I learned 2 see the good things in my life and so I´m also happy about "little"things e.g. when the sun is shinning... thats very banal but I think thats the way it should be!!!!I think I have 2 sides...Most of the time I jump around and make funny things but on the other hand I can be very calm and reflective too :Dhaha,I´m a lil philosopher,who is concerened about nearly everything^^,I´m unbelivable curious and thats why I joined this community here!!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In summer 2009 me and a friend made a little eurotrip through Copenhagen,London and Berlin.And we spend New Years Eve 09/10 surfing in Nijmegen in the Netherlands.Eastern 2010 we surved near Eindhoven and Den Haag.In the future I hope I can arrange it with my family that I can host people too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2009->Mission:Copenhagen,Berlin,London...:)

There was a mix out
of curiosity,worries and especially anticipation before we started our first CS trip this summer.
We were so excited to meet new people and get in touch with their way of life.

After nearly 3 weeks touring through 3 wonderful european cities we finally have to say we had one of the most exciting holidays ever!

A big thank you to Ragnar and his mum,Lau,Daniel and Said,John,Ivan,Zander and housemates,Susie,Blue and everyone I forgot!

2nd Mission->surfing a dutch couch for NYE!

So we found Simon and his flatmate Declan,
absolute great people they made us feel so confortable around them and their friends.We had a great time.

At the Easter holidays 2010,we had another great couchsurfing experiance,we stayed at Willem´s and his flatmates house in Valkenswaard,they lived in an old school building-absolutely amazing!After that we visited Tomas who lives in Den Haag,also a very friendly guy.

Interests

Oh,I have a few Interests,like most 23-yr-old.I love to travel and get to know other cultures,languages and people.
I love music,I´m teaching myself guitar and I hope one day I can play a proper song xD-maybe there´s someone outthere who would like to teach me when I surf ^^
and I also draw portraits.
Another big passion of me is football,
I´m a fan of Borussia Dortmund and I enjoy to watch games in the stadium.
At the moment I joined a mixed flag-football team,which is a lot of fun,and now and then I play handball.

Music:James Morrison,Gavin Degraw,The Killers,The Fray,Coldplay,The All-American Rejects,Aha,Maria Mena and so on but it depends if its a good tune I also listen to other genres!When I go out and party f.e. I´m pretty much into house and rnb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Beside the amazing CS experiances another big experience for me was the soccer World Cup here in Dortmund,3 yrs ago,so many people from every place of the world coming together and having a good peaceful time:)I´ll never forget this time :D

In my eyes every person effects you.In different ways,in positive and negative,even it´s not the aim.
You learn from every experience and you also teach other people.Exchange should let our mind grow and
