ABOUT ME

I'm a very open, warm person. I am interested in meeting people and making local and international connections. I'm an occupational therapist working with kids in the public school system in Chicago. I love my job and it affords me quite a bit of time off, during which I love to travel. I also enjoy being a tourist in my own city and sharing that experience with others. There is always something to do in this city!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, and also can be lost in a second. I just try to keep that in mind all the time to keep things in perspective and focus on things greater than the everyday stresses of work, etc. I also strongly believe in the good of the human spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am occasionally able to host people in Chicago, which usually proves to be as much fun for me as it does for them. I've met with people in other parts of the world, but haven't officially couchsurfed yet. Hoping to change this soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been 100% positive so far. I have met some great people that I feel I really became friends with.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm open to learning, or at least trying, just about anything! I can teach English of course. I can be a tour guide in Chicago. And if anyone is interested, I have a lot of knowledge of primary education and children with disabilities. I'm very passionate about this!
