ABOUT ME

Hmmmmmmm....... I like to travel, for the space to be and to ponder, and write music. I spent years in South East Asia, Ireland, Europe and North America.

The more I grow, the more I see the simple beauty of life, and recognise the wonder that is simply being here. I've come to realise, and experience directly, that life is already complete in itself. A little absurd, a little miraculous.

In 2014 I returned to school, learning to be a therapist; I studied Transpersonal Art Therapy and Counselling in Australia...... AMAZING!!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I Love the number of beautiful people I've met through couchsurfing, the number of life-long friends, and I want to keep doing it while I still travel. I've mainly hosted, while in Galway City, and would like to be a guest more now!

Books: The Power of Now, A New Earth (life changing! Both by Eckhart Tolle). Also The Tree of Man, by Patrick White (Australian author), Herman Hesse books (Narziss and Goldmund, Siddhartha, so far....), anything by David Malouf.

Music: Ray Lamontagne is a long running favourite. Tom Waits and Radiohead for the emotions they evoke. Martin Hayes (an Irish fiddler) is up there on my list also. Josh Ritter (yes!!!), Mick Flannery, Fabrizio De Andre', Joe Purdy, AUGIE MARCH, and so on.....
