ABOUT ME

Hello! We're Reuben & Joyce, two Singaporeans venturing on a year long trip. In March 2014 we will live our dream of traveling around the world, beginning our epic journey across South America, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, Israel, Nepal, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. We are new to couch surfing so we're really looking forward to meeting the community!

We're also learning Spanish along the way. Let's go loco (crazy)!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hope to host as well as surf in the next 12 months! We'll be doing a mix of Airbnb as well as CS-ing and we'd be glad to have a cuppa with anyone who's interested to meet with us! :) We're also excited to explore other tech communities in the world having been active in Singapore's.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted and surfed once in 2009 but have since lost my account! But I remember meeting some very cool people at meetups and hosting them as well. Hope we can do the same this time around. :)

Interests

Technology, startups, makerspaces, hackerspaces, astronomy, hiking, camping, nature, long walks around parks and as Singaporeans are the ultimate foodies - LOTS OF YUMMY GOOD!

Music, Movies, and Books

Behavioural psychology books like Thinking Fast & Slow :) Music wise we're open and are excited to go to Lollapalooza!! It is a crazy music festival that’s currently in USA, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. It’s their first year in Argentina and I can’t believe we’re going to be there for it. (To be honest I’m more excited about this than the World Cup).
