Hi there!
My name is Joyce, I'm a visual artist currently living in Nieuwegein. I like crochet, knitting, beer, cats and travelling. As a hobby I collect taxidermy and bones (roadkill and found animals only tho, no hunting) and I play the saxophone in a local big band.
Since it's close to impossible to make a living from just making art, I also design crochet patterns which can be found all around the web.

I like helping people out who are looking for a place to stay and I love to meet new people. Also I love to travel and since I'm forever on a budget because of my occupation, couchsurfing comes in handy.

Music: anything good, basically. Metal, the heavier kinds of metal, deep dark indie, classical music from the 20th century, techno, deep house... but also modern jazz and I can also enjoy a nice soundscape.

I mostly read non-fictional books about politics, sociology, psychology, history and books about countries that are very different than my own.

I really like a decent horror or thriller movie, art house films and documentaries.
