I am 35 years old Dutch woman living in Goes. It’s a small city in the south-east of the Netherlands. I love to travel the world, to explore new places and meet new people. I also like being in nature, literature, history, architecture, movies, music, playing soccer, craftbeer and hanging out with my friends and family. I'm an open-minded, easygoing and respectful person. CS is new to me and I know that I don't have many references yet but love to host or surf sometimes!

Because I like meeting new people. Couchsurfing is bringing travellers together. Meet somebody to make friends with and to show you the hidden gems of a city is the real value of Couchsurfing. It’s an exchange of ideas and cultures. You are staying with locals who know all of the best places and most fun things to do, you are shown sides of a city that you could spend weeks, months or even years failing to discover. I prefer to stay with locals rather than boring anonymous hotels. And it's something different to do, getting out of your comfortzone. Sometimes it's a bit scary but at the same time very exciting! Life is short, live it to the fullest!

Favorites are so hard! I have at least 20 movies that could easily be my favorite. ”The legends of the fall” was my first favorite movie ever. Books; most of the time thrillers or based on true stories. I listen to all kinds of music from pop to rock to R&B, surprise me with something new!
