ABOUT ME

I am a happy, friendly, and outgoing person who loooves to eat good food, travel to new places and meet new people! I grew up in Los Angeles, went to law school in Chicago, and will be working in New York.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although not extensive, I couchsurfed in Rome, Milan, Raleigh (North Carolina), and Berlin. Each experience was so great, getting to spend time with amazing and unique people who shared their home, culture, and life with me, even if just for a few days. I also think that when in a new place, the greatest way to experience it is with locals, through the eyes of someone who lives there. That way, the experience is most authentic and immersive! I have loved it and hope to surf as much as possible. We hope to also host in our place in Manhattan soon.

Interests

I like to explore, meet new people, and catch up with friends in some good ol' conversation. I enjoy eating food the most. Sleeping is amazing, but I don't do as much of it because I'd rather experience more of life! I LOVE to dance. Singing is fun too. I love music. But of course above all these, family & friends are #1!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got stranded in Prague with my friend Klara, who I met when we picked her up from blablacar (electronically organized hitchhiking), stayed out all night as it poured rain, and slept the next morning hanging from a hammock in the public park (where I also saw a woman tanning completely in the nude). Good times~

Teach, Learn, Share

I am bilingual in English and Korean. I can play the piano by ear and would be happy to teach you a tune. I can crochet, sew, and make clothes. I'm good at fixing things. I can intertwine my toes without the use of hands. I can eat more than any guy I've met. I love learning new languages and sharing what I know!
