Hello All! I am 22 and from Indiana, United States. I just began traveling when I did study abroad at AUBG in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria in Fall 2016. Since then, I have the traveling bug! I have a desire to see beyond my small world here in the US and possibly scout grad schools while doing so. I completed my Bachelor's in English Literature here in the US and hope to obtain a Master's of Library Science anywhere but the U.S. :)
I hate when people analyze my grammar or think i will analyze theirs because I am a English major. I do have a HUGE obsession with Harry Potter (Hufflepuff for LIFE). I am an avid reader with my favorite genres being: urban romance, teen romance, and historical children's fiction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently traveling around East Europe to not only go see my friends I made in Bulgaria/Macedonia but to see some more countries in the region that I did not get to while I was there before. A couple students I met at AUBG did couch surfing, so I figured I'd give it a try! Also, to get a more local view while traveling since I can sometimes stick to the big sights when traveling.

Favorite Artists: Empire of the Sun, MADE IN HEIGHTS, Drake, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, The 1975, Halsey, Migos, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Cashmere Cat, Oliver Tank, Kings of Leon.
Movies: Favorite of all time is Titanic, Quentin Tarantino movies, anything with Vin Diesel, various foreign/independent films like: Petit Nicolas, The intouchables, Her, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Books: Don't even get me started! In short my favorite books/authors are: Encyclopedia Brown series, Lemony Snicket, Doris Lessing, Little Women, and the Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery. (there are many, many more but there's not enough room!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Start my own non-for-profit called Senior Savers. Started it my senior year of high school as a way to prep seniors for the real world, all while helping them finalize their paths for after graduation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My cooking skills: If you've ever wondered about African-American cuisine my mom taught me well!
Language Swap: I helped a couple of my international friends with their English at my host university and I would like to learn the basics of whatever country I am in.
Editing: I write for a living and have been asked by many to proofread or tutor in English writing.
