ABOUT ME
I'm a professional photographer and life long student. I love to get caught up in intellectual conversation and meet open minded people. I never thought I'd ever travel out of the country, not because I didn't want to, but because I don't come from a wealthy family. As a teenager I'd read National Geographic and watch the Travel Channel making a big bucket list of the places I dreamed of going. Funny enough the most exotic place at the top of the list was California! In 2010, I was offered a trip to Morocco by a guy I was dating.. I didn't even have a passport or know where Morocco even was. I accepted anyway because it was a great opportunity and got a passport within 2 weeks, then went off to Morocco with no planning or idea of what would happen. My addiction became my lifestyle, I've now been to 20 countries and am looking to get a job that takes me into even further places. When I'm not traveling I'm usually reading, hanging with friends at local spots, or practicing yoga.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting people and gaining experience from a local perspective. I'd love to make more friends around the world and get to know about all of the places I don't know yet.
Interests
Photography and yoga are at the top of my list. I have a wide range of interests and tend to be easy going. I love learning about the current events of the world and in my down time can be seen with a big cup of coffee and the New York Times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's no way just one experience will be the top...
My first trip to Casablanca, Morocco (my first time overseas!) our flight was cancelled the morning of with no reschedule for a week. We had to be in Madrid the following morning by 7 am to leave for the US. We were scrambling, but met a guy who could get a driver to take us to Tangier. So we took a road trip to Tangier and made it time for the last ferry to Malaga, Spain. Once in Spain at almost midnight, we were too late to grab a train. We tried to convince some taxi drivers to drive us to Madrid, but most laughed and shouted absurd prices our way. Frustrated and tired we found a small cafe to sit in and regroup. As we were eating and giving up on our plan, one of the young taxi drivers pulled up and found our table, he said he would drive us overnight for 600 euros... done. We had to get back. So we drove through the night in one of the craziest taxi rides I've ever experienced, how I'm still not sure..but we made the flight on time.
