ABOUT ME

I'm a classical musician and also licensed massage therapist who loves travel, great food, and scenery. Dairy farm girl from huge family. Can get around in German/Italian/Spanish, but wouldn't call myself fluent! Like the touristy things, but would rather sit on the porch with a local and shoot the breeze about their town. Love finding the little hole in the wall with great music and awesome food.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have done homestays in Ireland and Germany. Member here for 8+ years. Surfed twice and hosted thrice.

Interests

Film, dance, theatre, opera, massage therapy... Have done four 1/2 marathons in the last 5 years and boy are my feet tired!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the eve of my 30th birthday, I was in Lucerne Switzerland with my sister Michelle. I figure, 'Today is the day to do something really stupid.' So I went and got into my suit (brought for Italy) and jumped in Lake Lucerne. No biggie, right? In early spring the lake is FREEZING, literally. I know now how people die when they fall thru the ice! It was one of the most fun things I've ever done.
