About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well, currently, our mission is recording some of our music in a studio. We are a band, and our mission is to spread love and awakening through our spiritual and heartfelt music. We have the studio time arranged and just need a place to stay while we record!

ABOUT ME

My husband and I are traveling with our band, which is our livelihood and our passion! We thrive on positive community, good vibes, authenticity, and spiritual growth. We believe in connecting with like-minded and like-hearted individuals and strive to be the best versions of ourselves that we can become.

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy revolves around our spirituality, which is non-affiliated and inclusive. We want everyone to make it, and we are willing to do the hard work of our part of that. We just love people and we want to contribute more love to this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to contribute quality live music, cooking, spiritual, philosophical, and very creative conversation and thought, house/yardwork, and anything else that can be helpful within a mutually beneficial community diagram! All we ask for is friendship and accommodations for a place to park our RV and maybe one or two people to sleep either indoors or in a yard. It is too large to park downtown, so we need to keep it somewhere so we can ride public transit downtown for street performance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have couch surfed by word of mouth a lot in my 7 years traveling, although I have only used this site a handful of times and it has been a while. Every couch surfing experience I have had has been very positive, and everyone in my group (5 total) is an experienced traveler and has been hosted quite a bit before. My husband and I have hosted many travelers back when we lived in a stationary house, and we host people in our RV on the road a lot, so we are intentional about being sensitive guests. We are all very laid back individuals and get along with each other very well, and absolutely love making new friends. :)

Interests

Playing/singing/teaching music, making art (photo-realistic sharpie on cardboard art, copper wire jewelry, polymer clay jewelry, crocheting, etc.), good friendships and community, staying healthy and alive, doing yoga and riding bikes, traveling all over the place, being inspired, and inspiring others to thrive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - Tolkien! Jewels Vern - Journey to the Center of the Earth, Three Musketeers, Man in the Iron Mask, Hunger Games

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few summers back I joined a bicycle caravan of twenty rainbow kids and we rode our bikes from the US Nationals Rainbow Gathering in Montana to the World Gathering in British Columbia, performing circuses all along the way! It was so epic!! I carried my accordion 400 miles up and down through the mountains. I want to do something like that again sometime!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a classically trained voice and piano teacher and choral director, and can also teach accordion, basic guitar and ukelele, and flute or piccolo if you have one (I don't anymore). I can teach a lot about energy work and spiritual healing, as well as nutrition and accommodating and healing food allergies. I can teach tarot and other divination arts. My husband can teach mechanics, electronics and a lot of history.

We are all interested in learning more in terms of our spirituality, mastering the art of living in community well, and finding our true selves and helping others find theirs in this lost world. We are also interested in learning more about sustainable living, as well as teaching what we have learned about this so far.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our passion, our music, our unshakeable drive to create a life worth living for our future generations. Our cooking abilities, house work, yard work, mechanical repairs.
