I think life is all about balance- I train and eat clean but I love ice cream and music festivals. The 80/20 rule.

Been to 68 countries. Love to meet new people, travel new places, and try new things, any ideas???

Theodore Roosevelt once said, "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who ... live in the gray twilight that know neither victory nor defeat."

I'm originally from Boston but have been living in Phuket, Thailand for 8 years. In my twenties, I backpacked around Europe and Africa. Some highlights of the trip: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, running with the bulls, walking across Spain and living with the Maasia Warriors in Tanzania.

After Couchsurfing all over Europe and parts of Africa, I can truly say that this community has changed my life. I don't know where I would be without it actually. I'm so grateful for the experiences that I've gained and the friends that I have met along the way!!

PHILOSOPHY

When you dream, dream BIG! Laugh out loud cause it will carry. I dream my painting and paint my dream. Traveling and couch surfing is the best thing that could have happened in my life! Once you have the ´travel bug´ it just doesnt go away!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Going to local couch surfing events, meeting up with people for coffee or outings! Surfing all through europe until I get home and can host myself! I try to be as involved as I possibly can in whatever city I visit. I love meeting new people! Everyone has something different to offer and I enjoy hearing peoples stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed all around Europe and soon to be many more cities. Everyone has been amazing and I look forward to sharing more great experiences with surfers.

Interests

Love sports, crossfit, the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics, comedy, concerts, LOVE cooking, and being with friends, obviously traveling, hiking...

Edm, house, country. I love music festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-My trip to Australia included diving in the Great Barrier Reef with sharks and stingers and even getting stung by several (non fatal) jellies. I rode horses in and trekked through the world's oldest rainforest. I battled dingos and heard ghost stories from the Aboriginals. And I held a koala and fed kangaroos!
-Oktoberfest 2009
-Ran 3 full marathons (42.1 kilometers) in BCN, Madrid and phoenix.
-Cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 20 couchsurfers in Amsterdam
