ABOUT ME

I love to live in a new place, learn the language, discover the food and meet the people. I loved my year spent in Germany and touring around Europe. Now I've arrived in Jakarta - have I bitten off more than I can chew? I hope not!

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, which means I try to love people as radically as he did.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a newbie to CouchSurfing, btu have heard about it for a while. It seems like a great idea - I don't have a couch but would love to meet new people.

Intereses

I'm interested in languages, culture, history, art, spirituality. I love to hear people's stories. I like to chat with taxi drivers. I'm passionate about helping people less well off than me and am trying to work out how I can do that the best. I have attempted to learn the guitar many times - but am afraid I don't have the discipline to practice! I like to call myself a surfer, but in reality I ride the whitewash :p

Being invited to a tribal new years celebration in the mountains near Chang Mai Thailand and realising that it was a big party with fire crackers, booze and halogen lights.
