About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help people and make friends all over the world

ABOUT ME

I'll write something later on. Till then enjoy this beautiful poem by D. H. Lawrence

Piano

Softly, in the dusk, a woman is singing to me;
Taking me back down the vista of years, till I see
A child sitting under the piano, in the boom of the tingling strings
And pressing the small, poised feet of a mother who smiles as she sings.

In spite of myself, the insidious mastery of song
Betrays me back, till the heart of me weeps to belong
To the old Sunday evenings at home, with winter out-side
And hymns in the cosy parlour, the tinkling piano our guide.

So now it is vain for the singer to burst into clamour
With the great black piano appasionato. The glamour
Of childish days is upon me, my manhood is cast
Down in the flood of remembrance, I weep like a child for the past.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few couchsurfers and I have enjoyed the experience very much. The problem is: I am so silly and miss them tremendously afterwards. Nancy and Elizabeth (US), Lúcio Lambert (Rio), Patrick (Canada), d'Arcy (Australia)... where have you been guys? I miss you all!

Interests

I enjoy doing many things, such as reading, writing, watching films and plays, going to concerts and to the beach, visiting or going out with friends, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could mention a few good films, but will stick on only one "LA VITA E BELLA" by Roberto Benigni. I have read quite a few good books, but I would like to mention "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes (have also watched the film with Antonio Banderas). Music... I would also mention many, but let me stay with "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. The version sung by Robbie Willians at the Royal Albert Hall's concert is very good.
