Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hi all. I love traveling, hitchhiking, and exploring our earth with my backpack or a cabin luggage. I’m interested in local places without cargo tourists advised by locals folks, wort of mouth is just more than Google reviews. I am also a gallery freak and bike enthusiasts. Sharing my time and place with you gives me true vibes.

Here are a few tips before you come to Prague:
VIDEO TIPS
- the best show about must-see places in Prague from a local Honest Guide, it also can help you to avoid some of the tourist traps in town: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM9_KZNJw8qGuEHJf4lcfIiGwpiRtcKAm
TRANSPORT:
- mobile apps for public transport are IDOS and/or Pubtran
- for transport from the Airport: use public transport instead of a taxi, just take the bus 119 to Nadrazi Veleslavin where you can transfer to subway line A (green) https://pid.cz/en/for-tourists/what-ticket-should-i-use/
- for taxi use mobile app https://www.liftago.cz/ where you can choose from relevant offers from taxi drivers, never take a taxi on the street
OFFLINE MAPS:
- the best mobile map for the Czech Republic is https://mapy.cz/?mobilepromo=1 , it is great for outdoor and cycling as well, check out your own country :-D
MONEY EXCHANGE
- I am personally using Revolut app when traveling, you will get a free physical Revolut card with market exchange rates, support many currencies worldwide https://revolut.com/r/jozefyou
- when looking for a stone shop, you can find reasonable rates here https://goo.gl/maps/Qupjdq6a43ZE58S19
- do not exchange money at the airport and be also very careful in the center, see https://youtu.be/eyK8dQH-Vh0

Here are some HOUSE RULES that make Couchsurfing experience positive and sustainable for all:
- feel at home and behave with the same respect as at your home
- feel free to use any cooking ingredients, dishes, and cutlery, and clean them after use
- you can drink tap water, but for the kettle, use only filtered water to keep limescale away
- preserve my neighborhood and respect my neighbors
- don't let strangers get into the house nor the flat
- if anyone asks, you are just visiting a friend (don't mention CS)
- keep peace and silence at night between 10 pm and 7 am
