ABOUT ME

I'd consider myself a laid back guy with too many interests to know what to do with. I'm currently trying to figure out what I want to do with my future like most of my peers. I enjoy good beer, hardy food, old architecture and nature. I'm not much of a planner and believe the more spontaneous the better.

PHILOSOPHY

I consider my personal philosophy as more of an optimistic realist. I don't believe in a finite line between good and evil. Generally speaking, people are capable of both depending on the environment, time and setting. Humor makes the world go round and as long as you have humility you have the key to your own happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My goal is to make people fall in love with Grand Rapids. Whether it's to food, beer, cheap drinks or people I aim to show them what this city is really about. For the most part when I host someone, I host them alone with my other roommates so there will always be something going on...if your up for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a decent amount of surfers in Grand Rapids with my roommates. It has been a joy every time and we are constantly surprised at how cool, courteous and kind these surfers are. So far we have been able to take ever surfer out for a night in Grand Rapids.

Interests

I am a man with many interests. I enjoy playing the piano, watching movies, dancing, going on bike rides, kayaking, tubing, camping, drinking beer and meeting new people.
