Overview
About Me
I'm a happy, out-going (gay) guy but also quite relaxed and not really a party person. I enjoy writing, hiking, movies, wine evenings and board games. I currently work as a freelance translator, meaning I can work from anywhere on my laptop.
I was born and raised in Sweden but lived in Denmark and Finland for many years while growing up.
I studied journalism and tourism and have previously worked as a tour guide, which meant that I got to travel the world and live in a new country every six months. My job was to meet and greet guests from Scandinavia.
Since 2014 I've lived and worked in London. Currently, I have a one year work visa for Canada but am travelling in Canada and the US before settling down in Vancouver, which is the ultimate goal for the next year.
People say I smile and laugh a lot and I have no trouble striking up a conversation, but I'm definitely more of an introvert once you get to know me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently travelling in Canada and the US and am not able to host, but am looking to make new friends and find travel buddies.
I have hosted others in the past, both in Sweden and while living abroad, and have stayed with other couchsurfers during my travels.
Interests
I love photography, books, movies, writing, wine evenings, board games and video games. I run several blogs, music is always playing in my ears and although I'm not sporty I like to hike, kayak and roller blade.

Music, Movies, and Books
- Top 3 music artists: Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas and The Cardigans (a great mix!)
- Favorite books: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (the only book I've ever ready twice) and anything by James Patterson!
- Movies: Wow, so many! Anything thriller/psychological/horror with an intelligent twist, but love most genres.
