Grew up in Kentucky, studied in Vermont and Guadalajara, based in NYC for past 3 years. Have worked in city government and in a transportation startup.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just joined, after hearing rave reviews from friends. No experience so far, but I've heard great things about this service and am ready to give it a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finished 2nd in Punderdome 3000, "NYC's most pun-tastic competition." My prize was a penguin onesie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I LOVE learning about infrastructure, especially transportation. What's it like getting around your city, and what's the history that made it that way?

I know a ton about the taxi industry, especially in NYC.

Speaking and sharing languages is also a lot of fun.

Board games (I carry Ticket to Ride with me). A good radio voice. Home cookin'.
