ABOUT ME

I'm a business graduate, mountain climber and sports-driven adventurer with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

I'm currently traveling the world for a couple of years by working, maybe creating new start-ups, living and experiencing new cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting. Besides, I've always been a bit of a turist guide.

I also attend local meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with great people mainly in the US, Europe and Chile, but because I was surfing more than hosting, I decided to change that and get my place a bit more suitable. And great people came along!

My greatest experiences have been couchsurfing during a coast to coast roadtrip in the US and hosting people while getting my masters in France.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The winter solstice in Iceland and shortly after spending a whole month hiking and hitch-hiking in Patagonia.
Oktoberfest.
US coast to coast road trip.
Snowboarded down the Mont Blanc.
Biked around the 300 km. of the Ijsselmeer in one day.
Trekked the Himalayas.
Failed my only 2 start-ups so far (I'll hopefully get it right one day).
Biked Patagonia from North to South.
Been an exchange student in Denmark at the tender age of 15.
Climbed five 6,000 meter mountains in a month in the Altiplano.
Went on an expedition to the South Ice Fields, the third largest ice mass in the world (which failed, but we made it out alive).
Being a vegetarian for two years after two trips to India.
Ran a Marathon in 3 hours 18 minutes.
Got lost in the Peruvian jungle with some shady shaman, talking to god and traveling with Ringo Starr in the Yellow Submarine during an Ayahuasca experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn programming (kinda nerd), how to play the guitar better and about entrepreneurship. I also love learning about new places.

I guess I can share some experience, especially regarding mountain climbing and sports. I also know a lot about geography and travel.

I also love showing the city around to people and sharing what I know about it, as well as my daily life.
