About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live in the present, learn from experiences and interact with many interesting people.
ABOUT ME
I recently moved back to Ohio after being abroad for a couple years, and while I get myself together I'm working at a day hab for adults with disabilities.
I like being on the go, but every now and then I wear myself out and sleep in:) Mostly I just don't want to miss anything.
Part of my life's goal is to be a world citizen and life long traveler. I feel I've just begun and there is so much more to see and do.
My list of interests is endless, because I give most things a go. I love trying new activities, especially if there is a bit of adrenaline involved. I'm a nature person and doing something outdoors is generally best-but I do love movies/cinema, cooking, eating and reading (which is an indoor/outdoor activitiy:)
I've been a wannabe yogi for a long time (maybe 8 years?), but I seriously lack discipline, however I'm slowly learning how to control my wayward thoughts through large doses of lovingkindness and compassion toward self.
I believe in constantly becoming the person you were meant to be, and never being foolish enough to believe you've actually arrived.
I know that every person is interesting and has value and purpose.
PHILOSOPHY
(Still under development...) Be open to the possibilities...and Don't harbor unhealthy thoughts.
Reevaluate what's important to me, and divorce dead-weights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a CS participant because I want to meet people and travel. I believe the best way to learn about a place is through the insight of locals. I want to delve deeper than the tourist attractions and see how others live life. CS is a great way to meet interesting, hospitable people, who are willing to share a bit of their life with me. But also my need to travel seems to override the problem of not having money...so sharing spaces for free is wonderful!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had a few couchsurfing experiences and all of them have been fantastic. I've met unique people who have been very hospitable and I've had the chance to be a host (but i look forward to more hosting soon).
so many things I've been able to do while on the road have been thanks to my amazing hosts: surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, sight-seeing...I have spent christmas and birthdays with hosts and some have become lifelong friends.
Interests
I love to talk with people (especially over long dinners or around a campfire), learning about culture, discovering universal truths, exploring the minds and perspectives of others, traveling, yoga, hiking, swimming, horse back riding, reading, writing...my interests are numerous! And I'm always up for trying something new (within reason)!

Basically I know a little about a lot of things, and I am an excellent and willing student.
