About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live life creatively...

ABOUT ME

I'm a new experience junkie, but recognize the blessing of the little things every day. If life was a buffet, I'd try a bite of everything, then go for ice cream... :)

Travel for me is about people. Id like to meet all 7 billion ;)

I was once described as "obnoxiously smiley" but there is no such thing. Life is so absolutely good.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an experiment. Most limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves. I think the lens you see the world through when you are away from the familiar is important, but just as important is finding ways to see the everyday in a new way- travel and connecting with travelers is a way for me to do both.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- how can I even start to list...Jam bands, indie folk and rock, reggae/island music... whatever makes my heart happy.
Books- Way too many to list... I could spend an entire day in the used book store/library/ laying in the park reading. Currently carrying wonderful book by Pema Chodron called "the places you fear the most".
Movies- Not much into blockbusters, I'm a doc. junky and could spend all day watching TED vids.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Hmmm... swinging out into the great abyss In Ecuador stands out.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happiness is only real when shared, so it wonderful to be part of a travel community :) Traveling has taught me that possessions are nothing and people are everything.
