About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to create a great company in the coming 5 years in order to build another dream in Latin America.

ABOUT ME

I am franco-peruvian man, educated in France for 25 years. I moved to China in 2005 to verify the myth of the country and try to find professional success. It worked thanks to luck and now I pursue to keep on living a life of discoveries and learning about new cultures, people and challenges.
I consider myself as a lucky man and hope to find people that feel the same about what life has given to them.
Life is perpetual learning game where choosing is refusing.

PHILOSOPHY

My moto in life is : Why not? Everything is possible if you really want to make it happen.
Life is an amazing game that I believe we all already won by the fact of being alive.
Life is about sharing as much as possible when it's possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to CS. I was introduced by one of my best friends in Shanghai who is a real surfer and I hope to learn more about this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed but I've met several people who were couch surfing at friends houses.

Interests

I love modern art, lomography, graphic design, music, visiting art galleries, traveling in new cities, meeting new people and new cultures.
I love extreme sports: skiing, surfing, wake-boarding, kite surfing and if I happen to be in shape I climb and hike ;-) I love to practice all kinds of sports: tennis, football, volleyball, sailing and so on.
I am a party animal when it's required but love also to chill with my friends at home.
International politics and economics are subjects I love to discuss about and until some years I could think in changing the world. I've grown up to understand that it would be more complicated than what I thought but I am still an idealist deep inside. I often like to joke about the fact that I'm a hippie disguised as a businessman. I am open to any topics until respect is key rule of the discussion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can be a complete geek about movies: I love Star wars, Matrix, Avatar and other sic-fi movies. But I love also independent movies: Amores Perros, The Fall or documentaries such as Inside Job, Bowling for Columbine, Food Inc. are things I love to watch.
Music is key in my life and I can say I love pretty much everything depending from the moment. My favorites would be Rock and electro rock (Radiohead, The strokes, the doors Le Tigre etc.) Electro for party (Daft Punk, Justice, Calvin Harris, Cassius, all ze french touch is just perfect), Classical is great for those days of chill with a preference for Beethoven.
I love all the crooners in particular Franck Sinatra, Nat King Cole for their romantic songs to imitate in karaoke...
And if you put disco or old 70's R&B or Soul I start to shake like a mad man ;-) Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, Leon Haywood are the masters.
I prefer to read news on internet or political/economical magazines. But Paulo Coelho is a writer I like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen 3 things that completely blown my eyes:
- Machu Picchu in Peru
- Venice in Italy
- Zhang Jia Jie in China
I would recommend anybody to go there to experience one of these craziest visual sensations.

I'll share my love for China and recommend you to go there and put you in contact with CSurfers there.
