About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have more "story-worthy" adventures

ABOUT ME

My friends say I'm laid-back, non-judgmental, and have a 'genuine interest in people.' I recently moved to SF after living in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, but I'm eager to venture out and meet people with different backgrounds and with different interests.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that one of the best ways to connect to other people is through story-telling. In my life I hope to have many more story-worthy adventures. In addition, I hope to listen and learn from other peoples' stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attended a bunch of CS happy hours when I lived in DC. My first CS experience was in Peru and Bolivia and had an AWESOME time surfing with some really great people. Recently, I couchsurfed in India, Turkey and Guatemala and met even more cool dudes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing, meeting people, CS happy hours. I've met so many great people through CS.

Interests

I enjoy ultimate frisbee, hiking, sailing, improv comedy (acting and watching), fencing, swing dancing, and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 30-days on a kayaking expedition in Alaska. We did not come into contact with other humans for days at a time. One morning, we woke up to the sound of whales breathing through blow-holes. I got out of my tent, and just 30 feet away from where I was sleeping, a pod of 5 killer whales was circling in the icy lagoon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you:
~how to swing dance
~how to fence (sword fight)
~how to do improv comedy (though not very well)

I can share:
~A crazy story about when I was arrested in Tijuana
~Another story about when I convinced 50 people I was a movie star

I would like to learn:
~ Your language
~ About your home city

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
