ABOUT ME

I'm a 34 year old individual that recently resigned from the corporate world to travel and experience the world outside of the office cubicle bubble. I believe that people have so much to offer, but face to face interation seems to be deteriorating more and more as time moves forward. I believe that meeting great people can quickly remind us of how simple it is have the best of times.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've heard nothing but great things from friends of mine that have used Couch Surfing. Now that I'll be traveling around the world, I think it will be a great opportunity to try it out. As soon as I stop being a nomad, I would love to host because I think the Couch Surfing Community draws a particular group of genuinely great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my surfing experience has been great. The best surfs are like meeting best friends that you didn't know you had.

I'm open to all types of music and I think every genre has its hits. My favorite movie is Gladiator and I really like Tim Ferriss's podcast.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In March 2011 I left my Mechanical Engineer job and set out on a 4 month road trip across the United States (where I started couch surfing). After that I started a year long around the world trip and it's been the best thing I've ever done! www.jpworldtripping.wordpress.com
