About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get me some culture.

ABOUT ME

Lets see...I'm just finishing up my bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management at Arizona State University. I'm taking a year off before I start law school at Michigan State University. I have found my passion in life by working for nonprofit organizations. I have worked for all types of nonprofit organizations ranging from The American Red Cross to O'Connor House (Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's personal nonprofit org). I volunteer regularly for the Democratic Party, and believe it is important for everyone to vote. I love learning new things and will read journal articles about everything from race relations to why people hate it when public seating is attached to the ground and immovable. Ok I am going to wrap this up: I love camping, beer, whiskey, communities, food, new experiences, flannel, and playing the drums. I dislike: heights

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined Couch Surfing in 2008 after reading about it in TIME Magazine. I loved the idea of the experience and the community and wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately I have been in dorms and crowded apartments since then but have always been available for coffee, a drink, or a tour of Phoenix.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am going to be embarking on my first Couch Surfing trip at the end of May/Beginning of June. After four years in Arizona I am going to be moving back to the East coast for a year. Fortunately, I have two great friends (Also couch surfers: Juan Mendez & RJ Watson) who are going to be joining me on this cross country drive. We have decided to take full advantage of this opportunity by visiting some of America's best cities on the way back. We are going to be visiting Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Asheville, DC, & Philadelphia (potentially NYC or Boston after that). So if we send you a request please consider us!
