About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To change the world via theatre and travelling

ABOUT ME

That I am honest, reliable, dependable and caring. They would say that I am neat and tidy, not a real party girl and friendly.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once.

No man is a failure who has friends.

Carpe diem!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a few couch surfers when I lived with Alex Lovisolo in Pavia, before I was a proper member. Since then I've moved around too much to host or haven't had a spare bed. In Italy I also hung out with couch surfers hosted by Marco Bovina and Kami Mosawy, and went on a hike in the Alps organized by surfers. Actually met my boyfriend of 5 years on that trip, so thanks couch surfing! I'm hoping to surf more, in Edinburgh this summer and for future travels next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been fantastic, always met interesting, considerate surfers.

Interests

I spend a lot of time on the arts (going to plays, gigs, films, art museums, dance) and travelling. I also sing, act and write plays so spend a lot of my alone time in front of the computer, trying to fill the blank pages with the crazy stories in my head, singing songs or memorizing lines. I also swim and run a few times a week and try to keep in touch with all the fantastic people I've met around the world via Skype. I'm an avid photographer, which is one of my favorite things to do when I travel. I love trying new things, especially in other countries where everything from food to languages could be completely unintelligible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three favorite films are "Life is Beautiful" "American Beauty" and "It's a Wonderful Life" I was never really good at picking favorites so can't decide on one band or book. I like an eclectic mix of music, basically anything other than hard rap and country. Favorite TV shows are The West Wing and The Wire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking onto the stage of Shakespeare's Globe in London, knowing that I was about to perform on it later that month.

Seeing the view from the Sacre Coeur in Paris for the first time. Spent over an hour taking photos of all the things I could see from there.

Climbing up and then jumping off a 30 foot rock cliff into the water below in a Costa-Rican rainforest. Still can't believe I did it.

Performing a play I wrote at a theatre festival in Germany. Life-changing, dream-come-true moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have no idea what to share! I lead drama workshops, write plays, act, sing, translate, teach about transitioning from high school to university. Not sure who would benefit from that type of info. If it's you, send me a message.
