Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had signed up on this site after hearing about it from someone doing it while I was in Paris. I hosted 2 surfers in Copenhagen and am looking to continue to do so as long as I am not traveling. I am hoping to take advantage of surfing myself to save some money as I am don't have much and want to maximize the amount of places I can go to before I am broke.

I have now returned from Europe and couchsurfing allowed me to stay there much longer than I had anticipated. I am now making my couch available at my home if anyone wants or needs it on there way through New York. My profile lists Ithaca but I am currently living in Long Beach, NY about a 50 minutes train ride outside of midtown Manhattan

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had an amazing experience couchsurfing. I have hosted 3 people when I was living in Copenhagen and about 10 people in NY. I have also been hosted numerous times in places like Spain, Morocco, and Italy. Almost everyone I have met has been extremely kind and I hope to continue making new friends and learning new things

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite things that I have down in my life was a hike/mountain climb in the Alps by the Matterhorn. I hope to scale that mountain at some point in my life. Also traveled Europe and Northern Africa in a Van painted as the mystery machine for 3 months with people I met online
